Enter an employee’s completed months of continuous service to find their statutory annual leave entitlement under the Employment Act. Entitlement rises with tenure, from 7 days in Year 1 to a maximum of 14 days from Year 8 onward.

These are statutory minimums for employees covered under Part IV of the Employment Act — workmen earning a basic monthly salary of $4,500 or below, and other employees earning $2,600 or below. Employees outside Part IV coverage aren’t entitled to these minimums by law, though most employers grant comparable or better leave by contract. An employee needs at least 3 months of service before any annual leave accrues, and entitlement in that first partial year is pro-rated by completed months.
